Hell has frozen over!

A little over a month after griping to several reporters that he wants out of the Lakers (well, technically he said he wanted to be traded, then a few hours later he said he didn't, then a few hours after that he said he did), Kobe has finally apologized to Kupchak for his outburst. The Lakers seem unwilling to trade him regardless of what he wants, and with O'Neal out and no championship since he left, you can understand why. Hard to feel sorry for the guy though - his $136.4 million contract can comfort him.

Kobe makes All-NBA First Team

The Lakers' Kobe Bryant joins Steve Nash, Amare Stoudemire, Tim Duncan, and Dirk Nowitzki on the All-NBA First Team today. It is the fifth time he has enjoyed the honor, one of the highest in the NBA short of NBA MVP, a title that went to Steve Nash this year.

Pippen pipin' hot or not

There is no argument that coach Phil Jackson is still one of NBA's best, but what does he really think about Scottie Pippen's comeback talk. Is this the same Pippen Jackson coached while both were with Chicago during the Bulls' five NBA titles? Does the 41-year-old version of Scottie still have it?

Who do the Lakers miss?

I'm betting the answer is Paula Abdul, former Lakergirl extraordinare.
